A beautiful gutter has formed near the walkway at beach one over the past few weeks. It has been producing some great salmon on blue bait and pilchards – but for the best results 25 – 40 gram metal lures have been producing good 1 -2 kg fish in good numbers.
The best time to target them as proven to be 3 hours either side of the high tide – with more action occurring near dawn and dusk.
